New Blog System & More New Video

So the big news this update is that after many many hours of technical BS, I finally have the new blogging system that I wanted for the my website in place and running. I was tired of it being so static and one way conversational, so I decided to change it. The new blog area will allow me to update from my computer, my iPhone, my iPad, and even by phone if I really want to. This is very cool, because now if I feel the need to talk about something while I’m out and about, or post a quick picture from an event (whether you think it’s interesting or not) I can do it much much easier!

Also, the system allows for me to interact with you better. You can now and comments and reply to others from within any blog entry that I add. Have something fun to add to the conversation? Great! Wanna be a smartass and tell me to stop writing about stuff that doesn’t interest you? Great! Just expect a reply of equal or greater smartass equivalence.

So please try it out! Post a comment, let me know you were here. I’m still working out the bugs so if you run into an error, let me know.

- On another front –

There is a lot of stuff going on. Between performing, rehearsing, recording & managing music and taking photography/videography classes I seem to keep busy. I just took a lighting class with Chicago based photographer Ken Carl.  Very cool, and I think I finally have a handle on actually using off camera flash.

To end this entry, I’ll leave you with a video that I did for the band Ode.  Unfortunately I didn’t have control of the lighting at this venue, but I was still happy with what came out in the end.  Let me know what you think.  It’s a video from their live performance of Tom Wait’s song “Rain Dogs”.  Talk to you later!
